UPDATED RELEASE: AgwpePort v0.1 (Apr 27, 2008)

This is the binary release of version 0.1 of the AgwpePort class library.
To report bugs or suggest improvements, please feel free to create a new proposed item in the Issue Tracker tab.

Files included in this release are:
** AgwpePort.dll
** AgwpePort.pdb
** AgwpePort.xml
For examples of how to use the class library, see the [release:Example Projects|12859] release.

The AgwpePort help file is not yet 100% complete but is close. It should hopefully be sufficient to provide a suitable reference for the AgwpePort class library.

These examples should help get you started. There is nothing fancy about them and little is done to validate input or capture exceptions. The purpose of these examples is to show how AgwpePort is used and I did not want to clutter up the code.

The *Monitor* project is a very simple example of how to use the AgwpePort component to communicate with AWGPE. The *Terminal* project builds on the Monitor example to produce a program suitable for two way packet radio communications.

_*AgwpePort.dll* is included in each archive. You do *not* need to download and compile the AgwpePort source distribution before trying the examples._

By default, both examples assume you have a correctly configured and running AGWPE installation on the computer you are using to execute the example programs.

If you need help installing and/or configuring AWGPE, I would advise you to join the [url:SV2AGW group|http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SV2AGW/] on Yahoo. There, you can get help and advice from many experienced people including George Rossopoulos himself.
